Review and Swatches: Wet N Wild Ultimate Brow Kit in Ash Brown
I have really sparse eyebrows and if there’s one makeup that I have to use, it has to be eyebrow powder to make my brows fuller. What frustrates me is that most products I’ve come across makes my eyebrows kind of red. But look at what heaven sent me! The amazing Wet N Wild Ultimate Brow Kit. YAY!
I have finally got my hands on this little eyebrow kit! I’ve heard a lot of great reviews about it, so when I saw it, I immediately bought it. I got mine in Ash Brown. The kit contains a wax, 2 brow powders, a pair of tweezers, angled brush, and a mirror. The powders alone are amazing. The tweezers can pull the hairs out if you exert a lot of effort, which renders it pretty useless, as well as the super mini angled brush. I like the mirror that you can pull out though. You can bring this kit anywhere especially if you need retouching.

Price: I bought this online via eBay for P123.00. If you’ll buy this at a local Wet N Wild counter, this costs P399.00.
Availability: Can be bought online and at any Wet N Wild counter nationwide.
Shades: Ash Brown, Dark Brown
What I love about this kit is it’s super pigmented. This kit would probably last me a lifetime. LOL. It doesn’t have any red undertones in it, in which most eyebrow pencils and powders that I’ve tried have and it’s really annoying; having reddish eyebrows that don’t match your hair.
Just one swipe and look how clear it shows up. See what I mean? I’m not sure about the other shades, but Ash Brown doesn’t have any hint of red in it. Its staying power is fantastic. I wore this from 10 AM and didn’t expect it to stay until 11 PM since it was a very hot day and in the afternoon, it rained a bit. But it did, which really surprised me. The wax keeps the hairs in place, which is nice.
- Affordable! I only got this for P123.00.
- The powders are very pigmented.
- Staying power is remarkable.
- It doesn’t leave any reddish colors.
- Lightweight and portable.
- It has a big mirror inside.
- Flimsy packaging.
- Pricey if you buy this locally. I bought mine here.
- Apply the wax first so there’s something for the powder to adhere on to and to keep the hairs in place.
- Use a different brush for the wax so the clear wax doesn’t get stained by the powders.
- Use the darker shade on the tails of the eyebrows so they’re more defined.
Overall, I LOVE this product so much that the cons didn’t matter to me. LOL. This is one product that I can’t live without.
